Sam Perera, MBA, CAIA
Sam leads corporate finance engagements in Noverra’s Financial Advisory Practice. He develops new corporate finance opportunities, and assists companies in obtaining their optimal capital structure.
Sam has extensive knowledge and experience in the raising of institutional capital and a deep understanding of how financial institutions adjudicate credit. Over the years he has secured over a hundred million dollars in financing for businesses in a range of sectors including: real-estate, manufacturing, agriculture, the services industry, mining, energy and technology.
Prior to joining Noverra, Sam was a commercial banker with HSBC and the Bank of Montreal, two of Canada’s largest banks. Sam holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.
